I nutured my body, their home, for months. I prayed that they would be healthy. I prayed that I would be a good mother, as my body was a good home.
It has been over a year that I have been a "mother" but yesterday was the first Mother's Day that I was able to celebrate with my children.
It is still so bizarre to say "my child/ren". It feels like I am living a dream that I am bound to wake up from. To have two absolutely BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY children is just amazing!! It's so hard to express the feelings a mother holds for her children... and I never quite understood it until I saw their beautiful faces. To hold them in my arms is a feeling I never want to loose.
Alexandra and Grayson will be 6 months old in a few days. My how time has flown and my love from them has grown.
While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.

What a beautiful post! The twins are so very blessed to have you for their mother!
And I like to believe that motherhood is 10x sweeter for those of us who, at one point or another, were told or believed that they might not be able to have children.
God is so good.
