Under The Sea

.... Under the Sea!!
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea...

This year, I am afraid, is the last year I was able to do a "themed" Halloween with the kids and I really think they loved it.

At first, when we started talking about Halloween, they all three wanted to be pumpkins. Then, at the beginning of September Gray said he wanted to be an orca! An orca?? Really?? Yes. An Orca, really. Gray LOVES them.

When I told him the Orca costumes were too expensive (like $40+) I asked him if a Shark would work. Well of course it would!! He loves Sharks too!! LOL.

Then... I showed Alex a SHINNNNNNNNNY Mermaid costume. She loved it. I knew she would. She likes anything with sequins and glitter. She's her mother's daughter for sure!!

And Dal, well... He doesn't talk much yet, so he got what mommy bought him; Nemo!!!

Hope everyone had a safe and wonder Halloween. Ours was great. I can't wait until next year

My Lil Boy Witch

Dear Dalton,

Please, don't hate mommy when you grow up. I promise, I won't show these pictures to your girlfriend/boyfriend (let's be politically correct) when you grow up unless you want me to.

I am sure daddy is going to kill me when he gets home IF he sees these pictures.

Just know I gave you a Hershey Kiss for being so awesome today.

Love,
Mommy, your best friend!!

FYI... D is modeling a witch costume I made for an 18 month old GIRL. I just had to make sure it fit properly before sending it off to a customer.

Holla at OP (pp... Yea, you know me!!) if you want one too!!

Halloween in December?

What can I say? I have been a bit busy!! Sorry.

The last few months have been non stop. With getting the business going (Only Prettier) to planning the twins' 3rd Birthday. Oh, did I mention an awful cold that had us all down for a week, Thanksgiving and family in town!! :)

Woo!! I am out of breath.

Okay. Back to Halloween.

My cousin Tanya came to town to celebrate Halloween with us. It was such a treat. HAHAHA. Get it?!

Sorry... I am a dork.

This year, Alexandra & Gray knew exactly what was going on. They were dressing up and they were going to "Trick Or Treat" people.

We went with a classic Halloween theme for everyone. Gray decided on a Spider. Alex decided she wanted to be a "Rich"... which was really a Witch... and Dalton, well, he didn't really have a choice. Momma made him a Punkin!!

We had a very easy going day... and started to dress up around 5pm. You know I had to take pictures before the sun went down!!

How cute is she wearing my old silver heels?!!?

Here witch costume I made her!! I need to find a better picture

What's not to love about this sweet face!!

Cutest Spider EV---ER!!

We could not get him to sit still!! The fun has begun ;)

Ghosts, Goblins and Bam Bam & Pebbles!!

It has been a hectic in the Stone household.

Like many people, we are getting ready for the holidays but we are also getting ready for the twins' second birthday and the new baby!! Two very exciting milestones in our lives.

The holidays, in our house, start with Halloween (one of my FAVORITE holidays!!)

I have been planning the kids' costumes since last year... the plans for trick or treating were really up in the air since Brian had to work Halloween day. But things turned out perfectly!! I don't think I could have conjured up a better first trick-or-treating evening.

Around 5:30pm... I got a call from Brian. He was finishing up his job and should be home around 7 pm. GREAT, I thought. The kids had just woken up from their nap and I had a chance to feed them and get them ready for the evening.

Halloween day was GORGEOUS. There were blue skies and it was 77 degrees out.

The kids and I ate some sloppy joes, mac & cheese and salad and then put our costumes on. Yes, I dressed up. Well, sort of. I wore my "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" t-shirt :) and was shocked it fit well.

The kids dressed up as Pebbles & Bam Bam!!

So after we ate a supper... the kids and I walked to the only house on our block that gives out candy. I wanted to make sure they weren't going to be scared and that things in the evening when Brian got home would go well.

As we walked up to the house... the kids were in awe!!

The huge ghost, scary music, and skeltons didn't bother them one bit. I guess they thought their buckets were helmets HAHAHA. Alexandra cracks me up.

They walked up to the front door, with me of course, and they said "trick or treat?" I don't think they were expecting candy... in fact I am not sure what they were expecting but they were very happy with their candy!!

When daddy got home... we headed out again. This time, we had on leggings and long sleeve shirts. While the day was a nice 77 degrees, the evening temperatures dropped quickly. I am thinking it was in the 50's.

Brian is an awesome dad... and it just showed through more when he trick or treated with the kids

We only trick or treated about 10 houses but we had a blast!! I can't wait for next year. Now, I must think of some costume ideas that include three little ones. I guess, it will be easier to figure something out once the baby get's here... since we still do NOT know the sex.
