On the Road Again... ba babbbbaaa babama

Thursday morning, July 10 started off like a normal morning. Okay, I am bending the truth a little. I didn't wake up at my normal 7:30-8am. I woke up at 5:30 am!! And boy was I pooped.

I still needed to gather all the twins' toys and finish packing Brian and I's clothes. Plus, I planned on doing two more loads of laundry, pick up the house, do the dishes, clean out the fridge, walk the dogs, clean the bathrooms, feed Brian, feed the twins, make up the coolers for the twins and for Brian and I, get the twins ready, and get me ready!! Just typing all of that poops me out. Oh, and did I mention I needed to have all of that done by 11:30am!! Yes, it's crazy I know. But you'd be proud to know, I had it completed by noon :)

By 12:15pm, Brian, Alexandra, Grayson and I were on our way to South Padre.

However, we planned on meeting GiGi & Grand-dad (Terry and Craig) in San Antonio for a rest since we were unsure how the twins would do on an 8 hour drive. And boy am I glad we did. Everyone needed to stretch their legs out and be comfortable for a bit. Plus, Brian and I had never been to San Antonio and we really wanted to see River Walk and such.

River Walk is GORGEOUS!! I was just in awe. I wish the sidewalks were a little bit more double stroller friendly, but I don't think double strollers were an issue a 100 years ago. The flora and fauna was lush and refreshing. Plus, there were birds, butterflies, and dragon flies flying around and we all know how much Gray and Alex love animals. In fact, it was the first time they had ever seen a duck before. LOL

Here are some pictures of our San Antonio visit.

Sorry for the no make-up look! It melted off LOL. The picture above is after we spent a couple of hours walking in the humidity pushing the stoller and carrying it up and down stairs.

Just happened to read this....Bradley and I went to SA in February '09 and we saw people with strollers on the crowded Riverwalk and we were thinking how crazy and ridiculous that was. I guess you were one of those people. Lol. I don't blame you...we'd have our stroller too if we had the boys. :)

The things we do for our kids!!

The amazing thing is no one really offered to help bring the stroller up the stairs (which surprised me)... not that I would have accepted.

And the looks we got were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! Some people looked at us like we were the plague when others took pictures of the twins.
